Lab Prep Guide

Reconstitution & handling.

A laboratory reference for reconstituting lyophilized peptide with bacteriostatic water and calculating working concentration. For laboratory preparation only — not dosing guidance of any kind.

Procedure
01

Bring to room temperature

Allow the sealed vial and BAC water to equilibrate to room temperature before opening.

02

Add BAC water slowly

Introduce bacteriostatic water down the inner vial wall — do not inject force directly into the powder.

03

Dissolve gently

Swirl the vial gently until fully dissolved. Do not shake; agitation can shear the peptide.

04

Calculate concentration

Concentration equals vial quantity divided by the volume of BAC water added. Use the calculator opposite.

05

Store reconstituted

Refrigerate at 2–8 °C and use within the working window defined by your protocol. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.

Storage reference.

Lyophilized
−20 °C
Desiccated, protected from light. Stable until reconstitution.
Reconstituted
2–8 °C
Refrigerated. Use within your protocol window; do not refreeze repeatedly.
Short transit
≤ 25 °C
Lyophilized powder tolerates brief ambient transit; refrigerate on arrival.
Long-term
−20 °C
For extended storage of reconstituted aliquots, freeze in single-use portions.
